The Engine Room

Ock is the kind of person who builds things from nothing and then figures out how to make them run better. Over 15 years, he's built and led a group of companies across supply chain, telecommunications, property management, and manufacturing — growing Nungu Group Holdings from a startup to R86 million in annual turnover.

As Group CEO, he simultaneously ran five entities, managed consolidated financials, negotiated international supplier contracts across seven countries, and reported to multiple boards. He's won SOE supply contracts with Transnet, Eskom, and the SANDF, achieved and maintained Level 1 BB-BEE certification, and introduced entirely new product verticals into the steel and rail industries.

"I've done the 3am spreadsheets, the impossible tenders, and the meetings where you have to tell a board things they don't want to hear. There's no business problem I haven't sat on the other side of."

No Jargon. No Fluff. Just a Straight Answer.

Ock has the MBA. He just refuses to use it as an excuse to talk in circles. When you sit down with him, you get an honest read of where your business actually stands — not a sanitised version designed to make everyone comfortable. If something isn't working, he'll tell you what it is and why. If your numbers are telling a story you haven't heard yet, he'll translate it into plain language and tell you what to do about it.

The advice you walk away with won't be a 40-slide deck full of frameworks and buzzwords. It'll be a clear picture of where you are, a realistic view of where you could be, and the specific steps to close the gap. Practical, direct, and built around your business — not a textbook version of it.

What He Brings to Multifox

  • Strategy that actually gets executed — not just documented
  • CFO-level financial management and reporting
  • Supply chain and procurement across local and international markets
  • Multi-entity group structuring and governance
  • Business rescue, turnaround, and stabilisation
  • Regulatory and compliance navigation (BB-BEE, tax, SOE procurement)

Beyond the Boardroom

When he's not fixing businesses, Ock co-runs Origin Skates — the largest online rollerskate and safety gear retailer in South Africa. Because apparently running a consulting firm, a health research unit, and a group of companies wasn't enough.

The Transformer

Dianne walks into broken organisations and makes them work. It's not a hobby — it's a pattern. She took over a regional directorship at the Order of St John where the Gauteng region was haemorrhaging money and governance was a mess. Within 14 months, she turned it profitable. When the Golden City Rollers were near-insolvent, she stepped in as chairwoman and built them into a thriving, internationally recognised league.

For over a decade she's built and run Graham Silva Insurance Consultants, managing a portfolio with over R1 billion in insured assets. She's a Key Individual registered with the FSCA, handles all fiduciary duties, and is currently finalising the acquisition of another short-term book while launching life and investment as new verticals.

"I've spent my career walking into rooms where things aren't working and figuring out why. Usually it's the same few things — bad governance, unclear roles, no financial discipline, and people who've lost the plot. Fix those, and everything else follows."

What She Brings to Multifox

  • Organisational turnaround and change management
  • Compliance, governance, and risk management (FSCA, King IV)
  • Financial stabilisation and growth
  • HR, team building, and conflict resolution
  • NPO/NPC governance and fraud prevention (MBA thesis topic)
  • Insurance advisory — short term, life, and investments

The Vixen Programme

Dianne is passionate about teaching women how to build and run businesses. As someone who built her own brokerage from scratch, became Commander of the Order of St John, and currently serves as President of the Board of WFTDA — a global governing sports body — she's the mentor every woman entrepreneur deserves. The Vixen Programme is her dedicated space for women-in-business mentoring, workshops, and practical skills development.

Beyond the Boardroom

Dianne is a competitive roller derby player, Chairwoman of the Golden City Rollers (the founding roller derby league in South Africa), and has coordinated international sporting events across multiple countries. She's completed over 3,000 hours of voluntary service with St John and was the first international judge invited to England's National Cadet of the Year Competition.
